Ecuador, 2017

Greetings from the tiny town of Montanitas, Ecuador!
I arrived in Quito 2 weeks ago. After a short flight to the coast, I have been studying Spanish and kite-surfing ever since.
Tomorrow, I leave to sail the Galapagos for a week. As luck would have it, there are humpback whales migrating nearby and the water is teeming with schools of hammerheads. The scuba diving should be amazing ... hopefully the sharks don't think i'm too tasty looking.
The pirate and I have been meeting lots of wonderful travelers. As it turns out, if you ever wanted to learn Dutch or German, Ecuador is the place to start

I was jumping for joy after kiting this day. As soon as I was back on dry land and the adrenaline started to fade, I passed out on a restaurant couch
