Greetings from the Australia's
Great Ocean Road!
My home in the Whitsundays was a 100+ year old clipper ship. |
Since I last posted, I went sailing in the gorgeous Whitsunday Islands, visited with amazing friends in Melbourne, and rented a campervan to explore the Australian coast.
I'll be in Melbourne for Austalia Day and then the next stop is camping in New Zealand if I can survive a few more days driving on the wrong side of the road!
My view on the deck of a live-aboard sailing ship was only made tolerable by the steady supply of ice cold beers. |
Courtside at the Australian Open with amazingly generous down-under hosts. |
Cycling through Melbourne with 'The Cuban Undulators'. |
My campervan home for a week along the coast. After 5 days in the camper running solo, I can best describe the experience as manly-smelling |
The beaches near the 12 apostles were spectacular. I kept expecting to see the statue of liberty in the sand like the end of the original Planet of the Apes. |
